![]() ![]() Necromancer is a fun class but I understand not liking it at first. I was just wondering if I could get some help explaining those three classes on a more basic level for someone new to Diablo. However, whenever I try looking into these classes I tend to find stuff talking about builds at max level which make no sense to me at the current moment and as such are no help. I know that I want to do Witch Doctor, WIzard, or Demon Hunter as I prefer ranged classes (so Barbarian, Crusader, and Monk are out). I'm just not really sure what class to go with. I heard that apparently gold (and possibly Artisan training?) carries over to new characters, though this could be wrong, so I was going to just create a new normal character and play through the story again as it didn't take me terribly long to get to where I was. It just didn't click with me and I don't think unlocking more passives and runes is really gonna help. I've gotten part way through Act 2 now and am still far off from 70, which as far as I have surmised is the level cap, but I don't think Necromancer is the class I want to play atm. I decided to roll up a necromancer because it seemed cool and do the story. Intelligence is also a primary attribute for The Enchantress. So I picked up Diablo 3 for the Switch the other day, having no prior experience with the series. In addition, one can gain Intelligence from Topaz gems in armor sockets. Wizards, Witch Doctors, and Necromancers can also gain 5 Intelligence per Core stats points in Paragon, total amount limited only by total number of Paragon levels, and gain 3 Intelligence per level up (other classes gain 1). Some active and passive abilities of Witch Doctors can award temporary bonuses to Intelligence. There are no Intelligence requirements for items in Diablo III. In addition, for all classes, every 10 points in Intelligence increase all resistances by 1 point. Every point in intelligence increases all of their damage by 1% for them. It is the primary stat for the Necromancer, Wizard and Witch Doctor classes. ![]() Dubbed as Willpower in early development, it replaces the Energy attribute from Diablo II. Intelligence is a Character Attribute that appears in Diablo III. ![]()
